The 2nd Sinquefield Cup which started August 26 finally concluded its 10th and final round with draws. Held in Louis, Missouri with a total $315,000 prize fund was participated by 6 of the world’s highest rated players
The event was dominated by Fabiano Caruana, who did not lose a single game for the first 7 rounds. As one of the most strongest tournaments of the year, this was quite an achievement for the 22-year-old Italian-American Grand Master who won the $100,000 first prize. He also remained unbeaten throughout the competition.
