Liren Ding ties with Caruana after Round 5 of the Tata Steel Masters Tournament

GM Liren Ding won against Sergey Karjakin in today’s round of the Tata Steel Masters tournament at Wijk aan Zee.  This gives him a total of 3.5 points, allowing him to tie in first place with GM Fabiano Caruana.  World Champion Magnus Carlsen and GM Shakhriyar Mamedyarov also won their matches today.
